50 years ago today we were successful, and landed
men on the Moon 7 short years later...
We need to bring THAT drive and team effort back
to the USA! Not only did we send men to the Moon scarcely 7 years later - the technology used catapulted us into today's age: calculators, personal computers, cellular telephones and much more.When was the last time you used a slide rule or a pay phone? Or had to go to the library to research something, because the materials weren't available at home?Thank the now-defunct and defunded Space Program. h/t Old NFO
